Spend a little time in any studio and you'll soon realize that your tracking sessions are only the tip of the iceberg when it comes to getting professional results.  We go the extra mile to make sure your tracks are as clean and polished as anything you'll hear on the radio today.

When you record with Afterburn, all of these services are included with your fixed project-based price.  But we don't close our doors to anyone around here!  You can bring your home recordings or tracks from other studios and receive the same great treatment.

Afterburn Recording's commitment to high-quality results at reasonable rates ensures you receive an outstanding value.  Every mastering project receives dedicated attention from an experienced engineer.  You can be 100% certain that your CD will have the clarity, definition, and punch to be competitive in the market.  You've worked hard on your music.  We'll make it shine!

Mastering is the final stop for your CD before your submit it for duplication.  It's much more than just making your disc LOUD, but unfortunately that's all that many self-proclaimed "mastering" engineers actually do.  The real skill comes from years of experience, and understanding precisely which types of post-production processing will best benefit each individual project.

Contrary to all of the marketing hype, there's no "mastering machine" or software that magically makes your music sound like a $50,000 recording.  It takes good equipment, a great ear, and a tremendous attention to detail.  You get all three when you choose Afterburn for your mastering projects!
